On November 17, at the Cultural Center of Ea Ktur Commune, Cu Kuin District, ( Dak Lak Province), the National Great Unity Day and the Closing Ceremony of the Project to support housing construction for poor households, households with housing difficulties, policy families, and ethnic minorities in the province took place.
Attending the event were General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Party Central Committee member, Vice President - General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Party Central Committee member, Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee; Major General Le Vinh Quy, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police Department; Mr. Y Giang Gry Nie Knong, Provincial Party Committee member, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province; leaders of departments, branches, agencies, units of Dak Lak province; Secretaries of District Party Committees, Town Party Committees, City Party Committees; Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns, cities; Chairmen of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns, cities; Heads of Police of districts, towns, cities and a large number of people in Ea Ktur and Cu Kuin districts.
Speaking at the Festival, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, acknowledged, highly appreciated and congratulated the achievements of Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district in particular and Dak Lak province in general. Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, close coordination and efforts to overcome difficulties of officers and soldiers of Dak Lak Provincial Police and agencies, units, sponsors and people so that 1,200 poor households, families with housing difficulties and ethnic minorities in the area could have new, more solid and spacious houses.
General Luong Tam Quang emphasized: The results of building houses for poor households and disadvantaged families in Dak Lak province are specific and practical contributions to the National Great Unity Day; are the crystallization of the correct policies, the care and concern of the Party and State, the united efforts of forces, philanthropists, and all people, and are vivid proof of the strength of the National Great Unity bloc under the leadership of the Party.
General Luong Tam Quang hopes that with the foundation of a new rural commune, striving to build an advanced new rural area, Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district in particular, Dak Lak province in general will continue to promote the good traditions and new achievements that have been achieved, encourage people to actively work in production, develop the economy, escape poverty, enrich themselves and their families, and contribute to enriching the country.
Continuing to implement the direction of General Secretary To Lam, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to take the lead in implementing the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide from now until 2025, making practical contributions to the goal of eliminating 153,000 temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide, especially in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, and areas important to security and order, including the Central Highlands.
Party committees, authorities, agencies, departments, branches, enterprises, banks and localities in the province continue to join hands, support and strive with the People's Public Security force to realize the goals of the Party and State on hunger eradication and poverty reduction, security and order, soon bring the country into a new era, people have a prosperous and happy life, no one is left behind, so that in the coming time, for every Vietnamese person, every day is a National Great Unity Day.
Also at the Festival, Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung emphasized that Project 766 is the largest housing construction program for the poor ever in Dak Lak province, practically celebrating the 120th anniversary of the province's founding (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024). The project has contributed to helping the province effectively implement the work of ensuring social security, sustainable poverty reduction, ensuring security, social order and safety in the area; at the same time, continuing to strengthen the people's trust in the Party, State, Party committees, authorities at all levels and the People's Public Security force.
On this occasion, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 groups and 19 individuals; Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 11 groups and 19 individuals; Provincial Police Director awarded Certificates of Merit to 18 groups and 40 individuals with outstanding achievements in advising and implementing Project 766. 20 households (supported in building houses) received symbolic keys and gifts from General Secretary To Lam and gifts from the Ministry of Public Security.
Minister Luong Tam Quang also presented gifts to the Party Committee and government of Ea Ktur commune, the commune's Education Promotion Fund, and outstanding collectives and individuals with achievements in the residential community of Cu Kuin district. The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented gifts to 20 poor households.
Also on the morning of November 17, Minister Luong Tam Quang and delegates came to cut the ribbon to inaugurate and present a house of gratitude to the family of Mr. Y Du (born in 1979, residing in Ea Tieu commune, Cu Kuin district) and visited and worked with officers and soldiers of Dak Lak Provincial Police.
