Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son held talks with Politburo member, Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China Wang Yi. This is the first meeting between the two Foreign Ministers after the two countries upgraded their comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and agreed to build a Community of Shared Future of strategic significance. On this occasion, the two sides had in-depth and substantive exchanges of opinions on the situation of bilateral relations and international and regional issues of mutual concern, reaching many important common perceptions on measures to promote the implementation of high-level agreements and common perceptions between Vietnam and China.
