The Ministry of Information and Communications issued appointment decisions to the leaders of the National Institute of Digital Technology and Digital Transformation.

Minister Nguyen Manh Hung and the Deputy Ministers took a commemorative photo with Mr. Luu Vu Hai and Mr. Ha Hai Nam.

Also attending were the Deputy Ministers of Information and Communications : Phan Tam, Pham Duc Long, Nguyen Thanh Lam, Nguyen Huy Dung, and leaders of units under the Ministry of Information and Communications.

At the ceremony for the announcement and awarding of personnel decisions, representatives from the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the following decisions:

Minister Nguyen Manh Hung presented the retirement decision granting social insurance benefits to Mr. Luu Vu Hai.

Decision No. 935/QD-BTTTT dated June 7, 2024, of the Minister of Information and Communications on the retirement of Mr. Luu Vu Hai, Director of the National Institute of Digital Technology and Digital Transformation (NIST).

Minister Nguyen Manh Hung presented the Decision assigning Mr. Ha Hai Nam, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Science and Technology, to be in charge of and manage the Institute until further notice.

Decision No. 1465/QD-BTTTT dated August 30, 2024, of the Ministry of Information and Communications assigning Mr. Ha Hai Nam, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Digital Technology and Computing, to be in charge of and manage the Institute until further notice.

At the conference, Mr. Luu Vu Hai expressed his gratitude and sincere thanks to the Party Committee and the Ministry's leadership for their attention, support, and assistance throughout his work, enabling him to successfully complete all assigned tasks; he also thanked his colleagues from various units for their continuous support and companionship on his professional journey.

Minister Nguyen Manh Hung delivered a speech at the Conference.

"My work has given me the opportunity to be continuously involved in the field of Information and Communication Technology for 39 years, most notably 22 years with VTC Corporation, nearly 5 years with the Department of Broadcasting, Television and Electronic Information, and now I am retired at the National Institute of Digital Technology and Communication."

"Whether short or long, difficult or easy, each unit I've been in has been connected to a part of my life. Therefore, I want each part of my life to be meaningful to myself and the team, and I have always strived to achieve that." – Mr. Luu Vu Hai shared.

According to Mr. Luu Vu Hai, 39 years is not a short period of time, enough for the achievements, the difficulties overcome, and even the failures experienced to become precious memories that he will carry with him.

Regarding the National Institute of Science and Technology, Mr. Luu Vu Hai suggested that the Institute continue its efforts and hoped for support from the Ministry's leadership to ensure its stability and continued development.

Overview of the Conference

Upon assuming the role of Director of the Institute, Mr. Ha Hai Nam, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Science and Technology, expressed his gratitude to the Party Committee and the Ministry's leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility of managing and operating the Institute.

Mr. Ha Hai Nam affirmed his commitment to continue striving to successfully complete assigned tasks, lead the unit, and build upon the achievements of the Institute over the past period.

At the ceremony, the Deputy Ministers of Information and Communications congratulated Mr. Luu Vu Hai on successfully completing his duties and receiving his retirement decision with social insurance benefits, and acknowledged his contributions throughout his career.

Expressing confidence in the capabilities of the Deputy Director of the Institute of Digital Technology and Digital Transformation, the Deputy Ministers emphasized that being entrusted with the responsibility of managing and operating the Institute is an honor but also a great and heavy responsibility. Accordingly, the Institute needs to research and apply digital technology in digital transformation so that Vietnam can become a powerhouse in the application of digital technology.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung expressed gratitude and high appreciation for Mr. Luu Vu Hai's contributions to the development of the information and communications sector. Mr. Luu Vu Hai dedicated almost his entire working life to the sector and the Ministry, always being present when the unit faced difficulties, resolving problems and leading the unit's development, creating many remarkable achievements.

The Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Information and Communications highly appreciate Mr. Luu Vu Hai's achievements and hope that he will continue his work as he embarks on a new chapter in his life.

At the ceremony, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung assigned Mr. Ha Hai Nam to take charge of and manage the Institute, focusing on research and developing a theory of digital transformation to create a "new chapter" in the history of the National Institute of Digital Technology and Transformation.
