The Ministry of Justice organized a training conference to improve legal knowledge and mediation skills for grassroots mediators in Tan Tap commune.

In order to effectively implement the Law on Mediation at the grassroots level, the Project "Improving the capacity of grassroots mediators in the period 2024 - 2030". On the morning of October 10, 2025, in Tan Tap commune, the Department of Legal Education and Dissemination and Legal Aid - Ministry of Justice in coordination with the Department of Justice of Tay Ninh province organized a training conference to improve legal knowledge and mediation skills for grassroots mediators in Tan Tap commune.

Chairing the Conference: Deputy Director of the Department of Justice of Tay Ninh province - Mr. Ly Hong Huan; Ms. Dinh Quynh May - Chief Specialist of the Department of Legal Education and Dissemination and Legal Aid - Ministry of Justice ; also attending were Head of the Department of Legal Education and Dissemination and Law Enforcement Organization - Department of Justice - Ms. Le Thi Lo; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Tap commune - Mr. Nguyen Hoang Xuan Vu and delegates representing the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, socio-political organizations under the Front; representatives of the leaders of the People's Committee of the commune, civil servants in charge of the judicial sector; mediators at the grassroots level in Tan Tap commune.

At the conference, delegates listened to the Reporter of the Department of Justice of Tay Ninh province introduce legal documents on grassroots mediation; provide guidance on pilot activities of the Project "Improving the capacity of grassroots mediators in the period 2024-2030"; how to build a model of "Typical commune level on grassroots mediation"; guide administrative procedures in the field of grassroots mediation; build a team of trainers; guide the content and level of expenditure for grassroots mediation work; and train grassroots mediation skills.

The conference also listened to the Reporter guide the steps of conducting mediation, making minutes of successful and unsuccessful mediation; how to monitor and record mediation activities at the grassroots level; guide the procedure for requesting the People's Court to recognize successful mediation results at the grassroots level...

In addition, delegates also discussed and answered difficulties and problems in local grassroots mediation practices.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Justice of Tay Ninh province - Ly Hong Huan affirmed the great role and important significance of grassroots mediation work in social life, contributing to strengthening solidarity in the community, preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the nation, promptly preventing violations of the law, ensuring social order and safety . Through the training conference, it is aimed to foster and improve the capacity and expertise of grassroots mediation work and the implementation of the Project "Improving the capacity of grassroots mediators in the period 2024 - 2030", thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of state management of grassroots mediation for commune-level officials and civil servants, at the same time, fostering legal knowledge and grassroots mediation skills for mediators, further improving the rate of successful mediation at the grassroots./.
