Ministry of Health holds meeting on Electronic Medical Records Plan

This morning, April 18, the Ministry of Health held an online conference on the plan to implement electronic medical records, and to collect opinions on the guidelines for technical requirements of electronic medical records. The leaders of the Department of Health chaired at the Ha Tinh bridge.

At the Conference, delegates listened to representatives of the Department of Science, Technology and Training, Ministry of Health present the Plan for implementing electronic medical records; Draft technical guidelines for applying Information Technology, to implement electronic medical records such as infrastructure requirements and information security, software, data interconnection, instructions for signing, electronic authentication in electronic medical records during the implementation process.

Delegates attending the online conference at Ha Tinh bridge on the plan to deploy electronic medical records organized by the Ministry of Health.

At the Conference, delegates also raised difficulties and obstacles of medical facilities, especially regarding implementation costs; focused on discussing the roadmap for implementing Electronic Medical Records. At the same time, they contributed opinions on the technical requirements of Electronic Medical Records; Amending and updating the circular guiding the implementation of electronic medical records to replace Circular 46 of the Ministry of Health.

After the Conference, the Draft Guidelines on technical requirements for implementing electronic medical records will be reviewed and continue to receive widespread comments nationwide before being officially issued./.
