Bui Quynh Hoa demonstrates catwalk and body language to contestants

(Dan Tri) - As a judge at the model selection for designer Tonyy's show, Bui Quynh Hoa gave many advices based on personal experience.

On May 23, Miss Bui Quynh Hoa attracted attention when she posted a series of photos of herself wearing asymmetrical outfits that accentuated her sexy figure and showed off her long legs. This is the appearance of the 9X beauty queen when she was a judge at the model selection for designer Tonyy's show, held in Ho Chi Minh City on May 22.

The audition attracted many contestants. Young models showed off their catwalk and performance skills, striving to become a part of the upcoming show. In the "hot seat", Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 closely observed the contestants, giving advice to the judges based on personal experience.

"There was a candidate who was not chosen by designer Tonyy, but I saw potential so I suggested giving him another chance and analyzed his shortcomings so he could improve when performing the second time. In the end, he was able to convince the designer," Bui Quynh Hoa revealed.

According to Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, she and the judges scored fairly, following the criteria closely, even if they were award-winning faces or famous TikTokers, they would not be favored.

For many hours, Bui Quynh Hoa not only acted as a judge, but also catwalked for the contestants, reminding them to pay attention to body language. She said these are important factors that help each candidate express confidence and comfort when posing, moving, and having diverse expressions.

With experience as a model, beauty pageant coach and many years on the catwalk , Bui Quynh Hoa hopes that her experience will help young models improve and shine in the show as well as the long journey ahead.

Meanwhile, designer Tonyy said he welcomes new faces, aged 16 and above, who meet the height criteria: Females from 1.7m and males from 1.8m. In particular, the designer emphasized that angular faces and elegant demeanors will be suitable for his collection.

"I was surprised by the quality of the candidates. They arrived on time, had beautiful appearances, and most of them performed well, so it was difficult to choose. I will spend time to select candidates more carefully, prioritizing those with suitable appearances and exuding a professional fashion spirit," said the designer born in 1993.

Designer Tonyy's fashion show , Le Muse Winter Spring 2026, is scheduled to take place on June 13 in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together models including many famous beauty queens and runners-up.

Designer Tonyy's real name is Le Duc Anh, graduated from the Foreign Languages Department of Phuong Dong University ( Hanoi ).
