Breakthrough in traffic infrastructure in Ba Che

Identifying inter-regional traffic development as a key task in the new development stage, Ba Che commune continues to focus on infrastructure investment, expanding connecting traffic routes, contributing to promoting trade, improving people's lives and creating momentum for sustainable development.

Delegates and people performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 330.

Ba Che Commune was established on the basis of merging 4 previous communes and towns: Ba Che Town, Nam Son Commune, Don Dac Commune and Thanh Son Commune. During the 2020-2025 term, to ensure development space and promote convenient trade, many commune and village roads and inter-commune roads have been invested in upgrading and solidifying with concrete, creating convenience in traffic for local people.

Typical: Tran Hung Dao - Tran Phu route was upgraded, road cross-section was widened, sidewalks were paved and lighting system was installed; Ba Che - National Highway 18 route was asphalted; Nam Son - Don Dac route and the route from the commune center to Lang Da - Lang Cap were concreted; Don Dac - Ba Che town (old) route and Don Dac - Thanh Lam route were upgraded, asphalted... significantly contributing to promoting socio -economic development.

In particular, in August 2025, the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Region II coordinated with the People's Committee of Ba Che Commune and the People's Committee of Ky Thuong Commune to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the project to renovate and upgrade Provincial Road 330 (from Ba Che Commune to Provincial Road 342). The project has a route length of nearly 20.97km, the starting point of the route is at Km10+700 (in Ba Che Commune), the end point of the route is at Km34+200 connecting to Provincial Road 342 (in Ky Thuong Commune) with a total investment of 987 billion VND from the provincial budget. The project is designed to meet the standards of a grade III mountainous road, with a roadbed width of 9m, asphalt concrete pavement, and landscaped sidewalks are invested in at densely populated locations. Project implementation period is 2025-2027.

When completed, the route will contribute to the development of a synchronous and modern transport infrastructure system according to the planning, shortening the travel distance between the highland communes and the provincial center, facilitating the trade of goods and connecting with the provinces of Bac Ninh and Lang Son through the 342 route that is being invested in and other connecting projects. At the same time, it will create a space for economic development and more convenient travel for the people. Ms. Dang Thi Le (Khe Tam village, Ba Che commune) said: People are very in agreement with the policy of renovating and upgrading provincial road 330 and have proactively donated land to build the road. When the road is completed, people will travel more safely and conveniently, creating conditions for sustainable economic development. I look forward to the project being completed and put into use soon to promote its full value and contribute to changing the face of the transport infrastructure in the highland commune of Ba Che.

Provincial Road 342 through Ba Che commune has been completed and put into use, contributing to creating regional connectivity and socio-economic development.

During the past term, Ba Che commune received attention from the province in allocating resources, focusing on prioritizing investment in building synchronous infrastructure, especially essential works serving people's lives. Many works were completed and put into use effectively. Notable: Tan Tien village road to Khe Vang, Don Dac commune; Tan Tien inter-village road to Lang Cong; upgrading and renovating the road from Ba Che town to Ba Che bridge; Khe Na flood avoidance road, Khe Tam lake; Bang Quang underground, Nam Ha underground, Lang Cang bridge... Thanks to synchronous investment in traffic infrastructure, the appearance of Ba Che commune changes every day, people's lives are increasingly improved. Currently, the scale of economic value in the area is increasing rapidly, reaching over 1,836 billion VND by 2024; average income per capita is estimated at 86 million VND/year; the whole commune no longer has poor households according to multidimensional standards.

Mr. Bui Van Luu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ba Che commune, said: In the new term, the commune has identified three strategic breakthroughs to focus on implementing synchronous and comprehensive development. One of them is to focus resources on continuing to perfect the synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure, prioritizing the development of dynamic inter-regional transport infrastructure. To realize this goal, the commune mobilizes and effectively uses investment capital sources, integrating with the province's programs and projects; promotes internal strength from the people, creates high consensus in site clearance, land donation for road construction; focuses on planning and investment management in a synchronous and sustainable direction, linking transport infrastructure development with urban embellishment and new rural construction... From there, gradually perfecting the space for regional linkage development, contributing to effectively exploiting the economic, service and tourism potential of the locality, improving people's lives.
