On July 1, Dang Tu Thanh - who was recognized by Guinness Vietnam as the youngest singer in Vietnam in 2016, passed away after a serious traffic accident in Hai Phong .

According to initial information, at around 10am this morning (July 1), Dang Tu Thanh was sitting behind a motorbike driven by her sister Dang Tu Uyen, 18 years old, traveling on the newly built coastal road, passing through Minh Duc ward, when she collided with a white 5-seat Mazda car.
After the strong collision, singer Dang Tu Thanh died. Her sister was seriously injured and was taken to Hanoi for emergency treatment.
At the time of the accident, there was little traffic on the road, it was sunny, and visibility was good.
The funeral of Dang Tu Thanh will take place at 8:30 a.m. on July 2 at his home in Hop Duc, Do Son, Hai Phong. The memorial service will take place at 4:05 p.m. the same day.

At these shows, Tu Thanh caused a stir when she skillfully sang many traditional melodies such as: Xam, Cheo, Xoan, Ca Tru, and Vong Co. Her performances as Thi Mau and artist Ha Thi Cau once excited artists such as Hoai Linh, Dai Nghia, Xuan Bac, and Hien Thuc.
In 2016, she was recognized by the Vietnam Record Association as the youngest folk music artist.
