Singers Dam Vinh Hung and Vu Ha visit Cam Ranh International Airport

At exactly 7:50 a.m. on February 10 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), Vietnam Airlines flight VN1340 landed at Cam Ranh International Airport. This flight departed from Ho Chi Minh City and was one of the flights selected to celebrate the beginning of the new year 2024.

Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Tourism, International Health Quarantine Center; representatives of the Central Airport Authority at Cam Ranh International Airport, Cam Ranh International Airport, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company, Cam Ranh International Airport Customs Branch... presented flowers and welcomed the first guests to Khanh Hoa.

Flight VN1340 was also welcomed with a water cannon ceremony. At the same time, the program gave flowers to the first 20 passengers and 3 plane tickets to 3 lucky guests... Notably, among the first guests were singers Dam Vinh Hung, Vu Ha...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of the Department of Tourism said that the ceremony to welcome the first flight of the Lunar New Year is an annual activity of the Khanh Hoa tourism industry, aiming to send domestic and international tourists a message about a friendly and hospitable Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.

This activity also creates a vibrant atmosphere for Khanh Hoa tourism right from the beginning of the year, encouraging the spirit of businesses towards a 2024 with many new successes for the province's tourism industry.

According to statistics, in January 2024, the total number of visitors served by tourist accommodation establishments is estimated at 721,500, an increase of 110.2% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 520,000, 6 times higher than the same period, domestic visitors are estimated at 201,500, a decrease of 22% over the same period.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism expects that in 2024, airlines will work together to restore flights and open new flights, especially international flights to Khanh Hoa.
