Onana could leave Manchester United.

According to Gulf Times , Saudi Arabian clubs are interested in signing Onana, who has struggled to maintain consistent form at Old Trafford. With abundant financial resources, many Middle Eastern clubs are ready to make offers for him this summer.

AS also revealed that clubs in the Saudi Pro League have been tracking Onana since he played in Italy. Saudi Arabian football has not stopped the trend of recruiting famous stars.

Onana was at his peak while playing for Inter Milan, and his impressive performances earned him a £47m move to Manchester United in the summer of 2023.

The Manchester team expected him to be a long-term replacement for David de Gea in goal. However, this deal did not bring the expected results when the 29-year-old goalkeeper did not show stability. He made many serious mistakes leading to goals, greatly affecting the achievements of the "Red Devils" in the past two seasons.

Onana’s errors continued to be the focus of attention as Manchester United could only manage a 2-2 draw against Lyon in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final on April 11. After an unconvincing performance, coach Ruben Amorim decided to leave him out of the squad for the match against Newcastle United last weekend.

Onana is currently valued at around £27m. If Manchester United receive an offer higher than that, they may consider selling the struggling goalkeeper to recoup their investment. This amount would be enough to ensure the club avoids losing money on the previous deal.

Newcastle's 4 goals drowned MU. Early morning of April 14, MU suffered a 1-4 defeat to Newcastle at St James' Park in round 32 of the Premier League.
