Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong and delegates reviewed the art program within the framework of Vietnam Cultural Week in Sweden and Denmark 2024.
People's Artist Do Quoc Hung, Deputy Director in charge of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, said that to participate in the Vietnam Cultural Week in Sweden and Denmark in 2024, the Vietnam National Academy of Music has established a delegation of 20 officials, lecturers, and artists, many of whom have studied and taught in Sweden and Denmark.
According to People's Artist Do Quoc Hung, the troupe will have two performances in Sweden. On September 6, they will perform at the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Sweden in Stockholm and on September 8, they will hold an exchange concert with the Malmo Academy of Music in Sweden.
In Copenhagen, the Danish capital, the troupe will perform at the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Denmark cooperation relations on September 10. The program will feature a group of Danish artists.

At the rehearsal, artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music performed art pieces combining traditional music, jazz, classical music, vocal music, etc. The pieces expressed the quintessence and national cultural identity, harmoniously combining traditional, contemporary art and classical music, while introducing Vietnamese musical talents.
Speaking at the rehearsal, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong highly appreciated the efforts of the artists of the Vietnam National Academy of Music in preparing the performances. Giving his opinion on some contents of the art program, the Deputy Minister suggested that the artists should further promote their abilities, practice and perform the performances with the highest spirit.
