Cam Xuyen and Thach Ha give nearly 1,300 gifts to children on International Children's Day

On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, Cam Xuyen and Thach Ha districts ( Ha Tinh ) organized many practical activities, giving nearly 1,300 gifts to disadvantaged children in the area.

On the occasion of International Children's Day, Cam Xuyen district (Ha Tinh) presented more than 1,000 gifts, worth about 160 million VND, to children in especially difficult circumstances in the area.

Secretary of Cam Xuyen District Party Committee Nguyen Van Thanh presented a symbol of sponsorship for Nguyen Thi Tho in Cam Quan commune.

Recently, through the appeal and mobilization of contributions from local leaders, agencies, units, businesses and individuals in the area, Cam Xuyen district has donated and sponsored 34 orphans in especially difficult circumstances. The support level ranges from 1-1.5 million VND/month/child, during the sponsorship period of 3-20 years.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Cam Xuyen District Party Committee Ha Thi Viet Anh presented a symbol of sponsorship for Nguyen Van Manh in Cam Duong commune.

On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, leaders of Cam Xuyen district visited and presented gifts to the children.

On this occasion, Cam Xuyen district also presented 600 gifts to orphans and more than 400 gifts to disadvantaged children in the district. Each gift was worth from 150,000 to 500,000 VND.

Accordingly, the total value of gifts given to children in the district on the occasion of International Children's Day is about 160 million VND, including funds from the local budget and social mobilization.

Through the activities of receiving sponsorship and giving gifts on International Children's Day, the leaders of Cam Xuyen district hope that orphans with especially difficult circumstances will have their living conditions improved, creating opportunities for them to live in a safe, healthy environment and develop equally and comprehensively. Along with that, spreading the socialization movement of child care,education and protection in the area.

On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1 and in response to the Month of Action for Children 2023, Thach Ha district (Ha Tinh) presented 265 gifts worth a total of 132 million VND to children in especially difficult circumstances in the area.
