Can Loc strives to complete the land accumulation plan by 2024

The implementation of land accumulation in Can Loc (Ha Tinh) has created conditions for moving towards building models of agricultural production with high economic value.

On the afternoon of November 9, Can Loc District People's Committee held a conference to evaluate the implementation results of Resolution 01-NQ/HU dated August 20, 2020 of the District Party Committee Standing Committee on land concentration and accumulation; to collect opinions on developing support policies after the District People's Council issued a resolution to abolish the policies.

Overview of the conference.

To achieve the goal of land concentration, forming a large-scale production area on an area of ​​over 3,800 hectares in the spring crop of 2024, the People's Committee of Can Loc district has promptly issued a specific plan and organized the implementation of land concentration. The district has also selected 6 communes: Thuong Loc, Tung Loc, Kim Song Truong, Trung Loc, Vuong Loc, Son Loc to carry out land conversion on a commune-wide scale with over 2,640 hectares.

The remaining localities implement option 3 (a combination of land conversion and building model fields according to the criteria of the District People's Committee) on about 1,170 hectares.

Chairman of Kim Song Commune People's Committee, Truong Nguyen Anh Tuan: The commune is focusing on land consolidation, striving to hand over land to the people before November 30.

Under the direction of the district, localities and units have closely followed the policy and implemented it promptly. Up to now, the whole district has 15/17 communes and towns that have launched the land consolidation model.

The whole district has built 101,800m of roads and intra-field canals, excavated and filled ^535,550m3 of soil, excavated 482 graves, and mobilized 98 mechanical machines to implement the model.

At the conference, delegates pointed out some lessons learned, existing difficulties in implementing the resolution; proposed and recommended some solutions to effectively implement the land consolidation project in the coming time. Delegates also made recommendations and proposed policies to support agricultural and rural development, and new rural construction...

Concluding the conference, Chairman of Can Loc District People's Committee Dang Tran Phong acknowledged the efforts of localities in implementing Resolution 01-NQ/HU dated August 20, 2020 of the District Party Committee Standing Committee.

To ensure the 2023 plan, the district agreed to allow localities to provide support for grave excavation; at the same time, it was suggested to take advantage of favorable weather to carry out tasks to ensure the schedule. During the implementation process, units need to regularly exchange experiences and good practices in land accumulation; assign specialized departments to continue researching, consulting, and finding solutions to remove difficulties, creating conditions for people to absorb the province's policies.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Center for Application of Science and Technology and Protection of Crops and Livestock need to continue to accompany localities in finding partners to link production of large models associated with the application of science and technology; produce rice brand models in the organic direction...
