According to CBC news agency, Health Canada has just announced new warning labels printed directly on cigarettes to limit the number of new smokers, encourage smokers to quit, and reduce tobacco-related deaths.
These changes are part of new regulations for tobacco products. Warnings printed on cigarettes will be rotated such as "Cigarettes cause cancer", "Cigarette smoke is harmful to children", or "Poison in every puff"... The size of the warning message must take up at least 75% of the area of the cigarette pack.
