Da Nang Port Achieves Many Achievements in 2024

In 2024, Da Nang Port put into operation the project behind bridge 4.5 with a total area of ​​3.7 hectares and completed the investment in many modern exploitation equipment at Tien Sa Port Enterprise. Da Nang Port is also implementing the investment in the Hoa Vang Logistics Center project and promoting the necessary procedures to soon be entitled to participate in investing in the Lien Chieu port project in the near future.

Container cargo volume through Da Nang Port in 2024 will reach 755,000 Teus, an increase of nearly 12% over the same period in 2023.

The application of IT in the past year has also brought many impressive achievements, elevating Da Nang Port to become a modern logistics center. The automated management system and advanced technology solutions have helped optimize operating processes, shorten cargo handling time, improve work efficiency and minimize errors.

In particular, the project "Automatic vehicle tracking system in the gantry crane - eCPS" has successfully surpassed 200 projects and products in the competition and was honored to be in the Top 20 typical projects in the period of 2022 - 2024, commended and awarded by the Central Business Bloc Youth Union.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chung announced that in 2024, Da Nang Port will face many difficulties due to market fluctuations and other objective factors. However, thanks to appropriate solutions in management, operation and production, especially the continuous support from customers and partners, Da Nang Port has achieved impressive results.

Accordingly, total output in 2024 is expected to reach nearly 14 million tons, up 14.4% over the same period, of which container goods will reach 755,000 Teus, up nearly 12% over the same period in 2023. Revenue is expected to reach nearly VND 1,500 billion, up nearly 15% over the same period; pre-tax profit will reach VND 380 billion, up nearly 9% over 2023.

In 2024, Da Nang Port continues to receive the title of "Outstanding Enterprise for Employees" for 7 consecutive years; 8 consecutive years in the Top 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam; continues to be in the Top 1,000 largest tax-paying enterprises in Vietnam, Top 7 largest tax-paying enterprises in Da Nang City; Top 100 sustainable enterprises and Top 10 prestigious logistics companies in 2024 announced by Vietnam Report.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chung pledged that Da Nang Port will continue to strive for sustainable development and bring the best services to customers. Continue to promote investment in infrastructure, apply advanced technology to optimize the exploitation process. At the same time, expand cooperation with strategic partners to increase the ability to receive goods and increasingly enhance the competitive position of Da Nang Port in the Vietnamese maritime industry.
