Nearly 500 billion VND to build Da Nang Innovation Space

DNVN - The People's Committee of Da Nang City has issued Decision 1877/QD-UBND (June 17), approving the investment policy for the Da Nang Innovation Space project (An Hai Nam ward, Son Tra district) with a total amount of nearly 490 billion VND.

The project was approved by the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works of Da Nang is the investor and project manager. The total investment of the project is nearly 490 billion VND from the Da Nang City budget, the implementation period is 2025 - 2028.

According to Decision 1877/QD-UBND, investment in the construction of the Da Nang Innovation Space is a science and technology infrastructure asset to provide innovation space, shared working area, technical facilities of incubators and shared technical equipment, office equipment, IT infrastructure to support projects and innovative startups according to Resolution 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific policy mechanisms for the development of Da Nang City.

Resolution 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly and Resolution 56/2024/NQ-HDND of the People's Council of Da Nang City stipulate a number of specific mechanisms and policies in the fields of science and technology and innovation (such as exploiting and leasing scientific and technological infrastructure assets without auction; supporting costs for leasing assets...).

On that basis, the investment implementation of the Da Nang Innovation Space project aims to contribute to the development of the innovation startup ecosystem in the area as an innovation startup center, a modern and prosperous city, a place to attract startup talents, and produce and nurture technology corporations.

In a related development, Mr. Nguyen Viet Toan - Director of the Danang Center for Supporting Innovative Startups said that he had just organized a 1:1 online connection session between the JN Capital & Growth Advisory Pte Ltd Investment Fund (Singapore) and 5 typical innovative startup projects that participated in the Danang Venture and Angel Investment Forum 2025 (DAVAS 2025).

The 5 projects include Enfue - HRTech & AI platform supporting the building of professional networks in Vietnam; Fast Do - AI-based SaaS platform supporting the operations of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs); UC Talent - Web3 integrated human resource solution serving the global market; Skoolib - Education technology platform supporting schools and parents; Seraphim - High-tech startup in the field of IC Design and Semiconductor.

At the networking session, the projects presented their products, business models, strategic visions and development plans. Each presentation received sincere and in-depth comments and assessments from Mr. Jeffrey Nah - Founder, CEO of JN Capital & Growth Advisory Fund, helping the projects to better identify their strengths and areas that need to be improved to prepare for the next rounds of funding.
