Noi Bai International Airport welcomes Buddha relics from India

NDO - At around 1:30 p.m. on May 13, flight SAV579 of Sun Air, transporting Buddha relics - the national treasure of India, landed safely at Noi Bai International Airport.

This is a special priority flight according to a coordinated plan between the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and relevant agencies, to serve the Buddha relic procession ceremony, an event of spiritual significance, and at the same time an important international cultural and religious exchange activity.

At VIP Guest House A, lion dances and drum beats were performed solemnly to welcome the Buddha's relics. Representatives of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Hanoi People's Committee, and many dignitaries and Buddhists directly participated in the procession.

To ensure good service for the event, the leaders of Noi Bai International Airport directly directed and supervised the scene; the ground unit of VIAGS Noi Bai performed flight services. Security and reception procedures at VIP Guest House A were strictly implemented in accordance with regulations.
