On Luc Nam River at Chu station is 11.63m, below alarm level 2 is 0.37m;
On Thuong River at Cau Son station 15.23m, above alarm level 2 is 0.23m;
On Cau River at Thac Gieng station 97.34m, below alarm level 2 is 0.16m.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns: From August 21 to August 23, a flood will occur on the Cau River, Thuong River, and Luc Nam River. In which, the flood peak at stations upstream of the Thuong River and Luc Nam River is likely to reach alert level 2 - alert level 3; downstream of the Thuong River at Phu Lang Thuong Station and downstream of the Luc Nam River at Luc Nam Station is at alert level 1 - alert level 2; downstream of the Cau River is at alert level 1.
High risk of flooding in low-lying areas along Cau River, Thuong River, Luc Nam River; flash floods and landslides on steep slopes in mountainous areas of Bac Ninh , Lang Son and Thai Nguyen provinces.
The impact of floods on rivers and streams can cause flooding in low-lying areas along rivers, affecting activities such as water transport, aquaculture, agricultural production, people's lives and socio-economic activities.
