Hackers today not only steal data but also take control of phones remotely. The Klopatra Trojan can enable a “black screen” mode to open a secret banking application.
The Brokewell malware takes advantage of Accessibility permissions to record all user actions. Many campaigns impersonate legitimate apps in an attempt to trick users into granting sensitive permissions.
Once this permission is granted, the hacker can almost completely manipulate the device. Warning signs include slow, hot device, fast battery drain and strange applications appearing. Users should check immediately if they see many unusual symptoms at the same time.
