Warning of impersonation of Social Security agency requesting information update, citizen identification

Khanh Hoa Province Social Insurance has just issued a document warning about impersonating the Social Insurance agency to request updates on information and citizen identification.

According to the document, currently, some subjects impersonating the Social Insurance agency request people to provide and update their citizen identification, email address... into the VssID-BHXH digital application via a link with the reason of incorrect information; make friends on Zalo on the phone to guide adjustments, guide to the provincial Social Insurance agency or the local Social Insurance agency to update records due to incorrect information. Currently, the Provincial Social Insurance does not have a policy of calling or texting to request participants and beneficiaries of social insurance and health insurance policies to update information on the VssID-BHXH digital application or perform the above transactions. Therefore, the Provincial Social Insurance recommends that organizations and individuals raise their vigilance to avoid being taken advantage of and defrauded by bad subjects, causing disorder and insecurity in the area.
