According to the Ho Chi Minh City Departmentof Education and Training, recently, some individuals have impersonated admissions officers of the department or schools or admissions support teams to contact parents of students to collect personal information and provide false information about primary school admissions.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training affirmed that this unit, as well as schools and admissions support teams, do not proactively call directly to discuss admissions for primary school with parents for any reason.
All official enrollment information will be publicly announced on the website at https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn and the school's website, or sent in official written notice through the school.
At the same time, it is emphasized that if there are any questions about enrollment, parents should contact the school and homeroom teacher directly.
Previously, some parents reported receiving fraudulent calls asking them to update their children's level 2 electronic identification to supplement procedures and documents for the entrance exam in the first-grade entrance exam.
In mid-April, many schools in Ho Chi Minh City also issued warnings about a scam in which school administrators impersonated students and called parents to request confirmation of their students' level 2 identification codes to serve the purpose of early-level enrollment.
