Warning teacher beats 2nd grade student with electric wire

On September 13, Vinh Tan 2 Primary School (Vinh Tan Commune, Vinh Chau Town, Soc Trang Province) announced that the school's Disciplinary Council had agreed to issue a warning to Mr. Lam Thanh - a teacher of the school - for using an electric wire to hit a student.

A few days ago, social media appeared with information and pictures of a male student studying at Vinh Tan 2 Primary School with a mark on his back after school.

The Vinh Chau Town Department of Education and Training then investigated. The results determined that at the beginning of the afternoon class on September 10, student T. of class 2A3 talked during teacher Lam Thanh's class. Despite being reminded by the teacher, student T. continued to talk and joke around.

At this time, Mr. Thanh was holding the electric wire that was tying the windbreak curtain, and used this electric wire to hit student T. in the back, causing a deep wound on his back.

The incident was later discovered by T's family and posted on social media.

On the evening of the incident, school leaders visited T.'s family to ask about the incident, apologized, and asked them to remove the post, but they did not accept it. However, this morning (September 13), T.'s family removed the post.
