Muong Thanh fields in harvest season

In the 2023-2024 winter-spring crop, the whole province planted more than 9,820 hectares of rice, of which Muong Thanh fields alone were more than 4,000 hectares. In the sweltering heat, farmers were enthusiastically harvesting rice. Some households with many fields had to hire professional harvesters to harvest on time. The atmosphere on the banks and in the fields was extremely urgent.

Currently, with intensive farming, increasing the number of crops and using new varieties, the productivity and quality of rice in Muong Thanh fields are increasing. This winter-spring crop, farmers are very excited when the average rice yield reaches 6-8 tons/ha depending on the rice variety.
