Vietnamese cultural colors attract tourists in Luang Prabang

Within the framework of the Culture - Tourism Week of the Northwest region and Ho Chi Minh City in Luang Prabang province (October 25 - 27), the space for displaying, introducing, promoting tourism products and experiencing cultural, sports and tourism activities is a point of attraction for many locals and visitors. This event has a separate space for exhibiting beautiful tourism photos of the provinces. Along with that are 38 booths with the characteristics of each province, including: Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La, Lao Cai, Ho Chi Minh City, Luang Prabang. Of which, there are 28 booths of Vietnamese provinces, especially 13 booths of Dien Bien.

With display booths, potential strengths, tourist tours and OCOP products, local specialties are introduced, promoted, attracting the attention and learning of locals and tourists in Luang Prabang. These include honey, coffee, macadamia, brocade, Dien Bien's khau xen; fresh fruit, dried fruit, Son La vermicelli; brown rice cakes, noodles, seeds, pesticides from Ho Chi Minh City; cakes, embroidery, traditional Saa paper making of Luang Prabang... Each booth is unique and impressive, meeting the needs of tourists to learn and shop.

Along with that is an open space, with dances, songs typical of the area, traditional occupations, and ethnic folk games performed, recreated, creating experiences for visitors. Dien Bien brings to the ancient capital of Luang Prabang xoe dances, bamboo pole dances, pao throwing, con throwing, banh day pounding... not only bearing the appearance of the beautiful, rich-in-identity westernmost province, but also bearing the majestic, multicultural features of the entire Northwest region.

The space for exhibition, promotion and experience of cultural tourism has contributed to highlighting the image of the Northwestern provinces and Ho Chi Minh City in Laos; bringing the provinces closer to Luang Prabang, strengthening the friendship and solidarity between the provinces in particular, and Vietnam - Laos in general.
