Training to improve capacity for staff doing grassroots information work

Attending the opening of the training course were representatives of leaders of several departments and centers under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; 73 trainees who are officials, employees or specialized departments doing grassroots information work under the Centers for Culture, Information and Sports of communes; cultural and social officials at commune level; and people in charge of radio stations of communes and wards in the province.

Comrade Tran Van Cong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism delivered the opening speech of the training course.

Speaking at the opening of the training course, Mr. Tran Van Cong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism asked the trainees to acquire basic knowledge, actively discuss and exchange, especially the difficulties and problems in the implementation process to be answered by the reporters; from there, when returning to their localities, they can advise the local authorities to do a good job of grassroots information work...

Delegates attended the opening of the training course.

During the training, trainees were informed about the following topics: Overview of basic information; strategy for developing basic information for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030; instructions on operating the Lai Chau province source information system; overview of multi-platform multimedia communication and AI applications in digital content production. At the same time, trainees were instructed on short video production skills; multimedia graphic design on mobile devices; instructions on news production skills, reports, radio programs; production of news and articles on commune-level radio stations, electronic information pages, etc.

Representative of VTC Digital Television Services Company - VTC Digital presented the topic at the training class.

Through the training course, it aims to help grassroots civil servants and public employees raise awareness, promptly update information on grassroots information work, management skills and perform information tasks at the grassroots level to meet the requirements and political tasks in the new situation.

As planned, the training course will last until October 19.
