Training to improve capacity for staff doing grassroots information work

From October 17-19, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a training course to improve capacity for staff working in grassroots information work in 2025.

The training included 73 trainees who were officials, employees or specialized departments working on grassroots information work at the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of the units; cultural and social officials at the commune level; and people in charge of radio stations of communes and wards in the province.

During the 3 days, students were informed about: Overview of basic information; strategy for developing basic information for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030; overview of multi-platform multimedia communication and AI applications in digital content production. In addition, students were also instructed on short video production; multimedia graphic design on mobile devices; skills in producing news, reports, radio programs; producing news and articles on communal radio stations, electronic information pages, etc.

Through the training course, trainees are equipped with more knowledge and improve their skills in managing and performing information tasks at the grassroots level, thereby successfully completing assigned tasks.
