According to the police, the subjects took advantage of the anxiety and pressure of exams of students and parents to launch sophisticated scams. One of the common tricks is to impersonate officials of the education sector or "acquaintances" with connections in the Ministry of Education and Training to make promises such as "guaranteed passing", "increasing scores", "interfering with exam results". The subjects often contact by phone, text message and use a confident tone, providing fake evidence to create trust...

Many parents, worried about their children's future, trusted and transferred money as requested. However, after receiving the money, the subjects immediately cut off contact and disappeared completely, leaving the victims in a state of losing money and being confused.

At the same time, on many social media platforms, there are also widespread advertisements selling high school graduation exam questions with promises of “original answers” and “guaranteed high scores”. The exam questions are sold at high prices, accompanied by attractive introductions aimed at playing on students’ insecurity and lack of confidence. However, according to authorities, this is completely fake information, because high school graduation exam questions are strictly confidential and cannot be leaked.

Another trick that is being exploited by these subjects is opening "crash exam preparation classes", advertising "correct review", "sure to pass". Some classes exist only in name, are poorly organized or completely virtual. In some cases, after collecting money, the "class" disappears, leaving students with incomplete review plans in the final stages...

Faced with the above situation, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (Da Nang City Police) recommends: People need to be vigilant, absolutely do not believe in promises, increased scores, and guaranteed admission on the internet. When receiving admission notices from schools that have never been registered, it is necessary to check the information on the school's official website or call the public phone number directly to verify. When detecting suspicious behavior, people need to immediately report to the nearest police agency for timely investigation and handling...

Da Nang City Police will continue to closely coordinate with relevant agencies to prevent and strictly handle violators and exam fraudsters to contribute to ensuring security and safety for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

It is known that on June 5, the Inspection Team of the National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, led by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong, inspected and surveyed a number of testing sites and test printing sites in Da Nang City. Da Nang City has 14,156 candidates registered to take the exam under the 2018 General Education Program, taking the exam at 30 testing sites. In addition, the city has 1 testing site for 393 candidates registered to take the exam under the 2006 General Education Program.

Up to this point, 31 examination sites have prepared facilities, ensuring the examination supervision as required, each examination site has 1 spare examination room. The Da Nang Department of Education and Training mobilized nearly 1,900 staff and teachers to participate in organizing the examination. The examination council has also prepared 2 spare examination sites, and at the same time reserved more than 500 staff and teachers.

Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang, said that the Department has coordinated with the City Police in preparing facilities, plans, means, and equipment to ensure security and safety at the places where exam papers are printed, stored, and examined, etc., ensuring conditions and means for fire and explosion prevention and security in accordance with the regulations.

Arrange vehicles and fire prevention and fighting forces to be on duty 24/7 at the exam printing and grading locations; organize school and classroom cleaning; strictly implement regulations on food hygiene and safety...

Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said, In the remaining time until the exam takes place, Da Nang will review each stage of the preparation work, focusing on training regulations for teachers, exam invigilators and students, especially paying attention to new points of the exam.
