This will be an event bearing the cultural and artistic imprint of the police forces of many countries, contributing to affirming the image of the capital Hanoi , the peaceful, friendly and hospitable country of Vietnam.
The 2025 World Police Music Festival - Vietnam, organized by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with Japan, is an event within the Government's Project on organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Security Day. The Music Festival is organized to enhance cultural, artistic and musical exchanges, enhance mutual understanding of national identity, country, people, work and combat process of the Vietnam People's Police force in particular and the Police of other countries in the world in general. This is also an opportunity to promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam to international friends, demonstrating Vietnam's policy of being a friend, a reliable partner, and a responsible member of the international community.
The Grand Concert is also an activity to propagate andeducate cadres, soldiers and people about the glorious tradition of 80 years of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force; affirming the correct leadership of the Party and State in international cooperation and integration, contributing to protecting national security, social order and safety and building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern Public Security Force. Through the organization of the Grand Concert, the role and position of the Ministry of Public Security in particular and Vietnam in general is affirmed, contributing to enhancing the prestige and role of the Police of countries around the world.
According to the plan, the Grand Music Festival will take place from August 7 to 11 in Hanoi. Participating in the Grand Music Festival, on the Vietnamese side, there will be the Ministry of National Defense Band and the Ministry of Public Security Band. On the international band side, in addition to 6 bands from ASEAN countries (Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia, Singapore), the Organizing Committee will invite a number of police bands from countries with strengths in military music, including China, South Korea, etc. It is expected that the bands will perform on stage and parade on the walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake, in which, the parade on the walking street will be broadcast live on CAND Television - ANTV channel.
Two Vietnamese bands, the Ministry of Public Security Band and the Ministry of National Defense Band, will perform a parade through scenic spots and historical sites such as the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, the Presidential Palace area and the National Assembly building, the “People’s Police Serving the People” Monument... to serve the people and tourists coming to Hanoi. The performances will praise the love of homeland, country, tradition, prestige, and role of the Police force and of the countries participating in the Grand Music Festival.
Previously, the Ministry of Public Security successfully organized the ASEAN+ Police Music Festival in 2022 in Hanoi. At this Music Festival, people and tourists coming to Hanoi had the opportunity to watch 2 Vietnamese bands and many Police Bands from other countries perform. The public also had the opportunity to watch hundreds of famous musicians and trumpeters from many professional bands from many countries compete. The professional and attractive performances introduced many musical works from Vietnam and the world to the public, creating a colorful Police Music Festival, thereby helping the public better understand the cultural and spiritual activities of the Vietnamese armed forces, including the People's Public Security in particular, and the Police of other countries in general.
The World Police Music Festival - Vietnam 2025 will inherit and promote the success of the ASEAN+ Police Music Festival, and is expected to continue to bring many beautiful emotions about friendship and solidarity between the people and police forces of the countries. The Music Festival will not only be a special cultural event with its own significance for the Public Security Forces but also a major event for the public of the Capital, attracting people, tourists and international friends.
