Award Ceremony of the 2025 Fruit Art Competition

(DN) - On June 8, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Area to organize the award ceremony of the 2025 Fruit Sculpture Art Contest. This is one of the main activities at the 21st Southern Fruit Festival - 2025.

With the theme “Vietnam - New Era, the Era of National Rising”, this year’s contest gathered 24 entries from artisans from provinces and cities in the Southern region, including: Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, An Giang, Tien Giang, Long An, Binh Duong…

According to the organizers, the works participating in the contest are divided into 3 groups: Group A includes large-sized works, Group B includes medium-sized works and Group C includes small-sized works. This is also a difference compared to recent years when the contest was organized into 2 groups.

Regarding the contest results, the work "Suoi Tien welcomes the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South - a new era, a new height of the country" by author Trinh Hoang Anh ( Binh Duong ) won first prize in group A. The work "Historical imprint" by author Cao Phuong Vu (Tay Ninh) won first prize in group B. The work "50 years of liberation of the South - the country is connected in one strip" by author Dang Van Ut (Tien Giang) won first prize in group C. Dong Nai has 1 author who won third prize in group C, that is author Lam Minh Tien from Vinh Cuu district.
