Coast Guard gives nearly 400 gifts and 220 scholarships to poor students

On December 12, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 held a conference to review Party and political work in 2024.

Coast Guard Region 4 said that in 2024, the unit effectively implemented the mass mobilization program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen", presenting 2,100 national flags, 140 photos of Uncle Ho, and 140 medical bags.

In particular, the unit awarded nearly 400 gifts, 41 bicycles, 220 scholarships... to poor students in coastal and island areas who overcame difficulties to study well (with a total cost of activities of nearly 3 billion VND).

Major General Nguyen Van Dung - Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command - said that in 2025, the unit will focus on improving the quality of political and ideological education, innovating and creating effective models and methods, and building a strong, comprehensive, and exemplary model unit.
