Police perform martial arts and shooting at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat

On the morning of October 13, at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City, Lam Dong, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, Lam Dong Provincial Police and relevant agencies to organize the opening ceremony of the 9th National Security Sports Congress and the 6th People's Public Security Regulation, Military and Martial Arts Competition in Region 3.

Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, said that the locality was honored to be chosen by the Ministry of Public Security as the venue for the congress and competition. This is an opportunity for officials, people, and Lam Dong Provincial Police to exchange, learn, and share experiences with police from other localities.

According to the leader of Lam Dong Provincial Police, the congress and competition aim to evaluate the results and quality of physical training, sports, command training, military training, and martial arts of the People's Police Force; it is an opportunity for the police force to create an overwhelming atmosphere against all types of criminals;

At the same time, promote the emulation movement For National Security, creating motivation for officers and soldiers to raise their sense of responsibility, proactively train themselves, improve their physical strength, professional qualifications, and skills in fighting crime.

The 9th National Security Fitness Congress and the 6th People's Public Security Regulation, Military and Martial Arts Competition of Region 3 of the Ministry of Public Security took place from October 11-18 in Da Lat city.

The event aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. The congress and competition aim to demonstrate the strength and evaluate the quality of physical education, sports, regulations, military and martial arts of 20 public security units in the southern region.

This is also an activity to celebrate the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival 2024, which will take place at the end of this year in Da Lat city.

The congress and competition were solemnly organized with military music performances; the Mobile Police Cavalry Corps of the Mobile Police Command marched and performed techniques and skills; the Ministry of Public Security's motorcycle group marched and performed; military performances, martial arts, qigong, demolition, crime suppression performances, etc.
