Canoeing and rowing win tickets to the 2024 Paris Olympics for Vietnamese sports

After finishing the 2024 Asian Canoe Championship in Japan, the Vietnamese Canoe team continued to enter the Asian Olympic Qualifiers to seek a ticket to the Olympics. In the Olympic Qualifiers, the Vietnamese rowers competed in the events that will compete for tickets: C1 200m (Nguyen Thi Huong), C2 500m (Nguyen Hong Thai/Nguyen Thi Huong).

On the morning of April 21, in the final round of the women's single sculls C1 200m at the Asian Olympic Canoe Race Qualifiers, athlete Nguyen Thi Huong (canoeing) excellently won 2nd place with a time of 49.351 seconds, thereby helping Vietnamese sports win the 9th ticket to the Olympic arena.

This is the first time Vietnamese canoeing has won a prestigious ticket to officially participate in an Olympic Games. With her talent and impressive achievements, Nguyen Thi Huong is expected to write a new history for Vietnamese canoeing at the 32nd Olympic Games, contributing more medals to the country's sports.

Just a few minutes after Nguyen Thi Huong won the ticket, athlete Pham Thi Hue (rowing) also brought good news when she officially won the ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics for the Vietnamese sports delegation.

Rower Pham Thi Hue (34 years old) has qualified for Paris, after finishing in the top 5 in the women's lightweight single sculls final at the Asia- Pacific rowing qualifiers.

The achievements of two athletes Nguyen Thi Huong and Pham Thi Hue are extremely excellent, bringing joy to Vietnamese sports.

In just over 3 months, the 2024 Paris Olympics will officially begin. At present, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation is actively searching for tickets to France this coming August. Thus, up to now, Vietnamese Sports has officially had 9 tickets to the Olympics with the following events: Nguyen Thuy Linh (badminton), Trinh Thu Vinh (shooting), Nguyen Thi That (cycling), Nguyen Huy Hoang (swimming), Trinh Van Vinh (weightlifting), Vo Thi Kim Anh (boxing), Le Thi Mong Tuyen (shooting) and Nguyen Thi Huong (canoe), Pham Thi Hue (rowing)./.
