Cao Bang: Announcement of approval of two Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, election of new Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the morning of June 9, Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce and present the Decision of the Central Party Secretariat, approving two comrades to join the Provincial Party Standing Committee, holding the position of Deputy Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Based on the proposal of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Central Organizing Committee, the Central Party Secretariat decided to approve the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for Major General Vu Hong Quang, Director of Cao Bang Provincial Police, and comrade Le Hai Hoa, Secretary of Cao Bang City Party Committee.

Comrade Vu Hong Quang was born in 1968; hometown is Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province; political theory level: Senior; professional level: Master of Law, University majoring in Counterintelligence. In July 2020, from the position of Deputy Director of Lang Son Provincial Police, he was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of Cao Bang Provincial Police. After that, Comrade Vu Hong Quang was assigned to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Le Hai Hoa, born in 1980, hometown in Do Luong district, Nghe An province; political theory level: Senior; professional level: Doctor of Economics . Comrade Le Hai Hoa has held the following positions: Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Cao Bang City Party Committee... He was introduced to the Provincial People's Council to elect to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

At the Conference, Cao Bang Provincial Party Secretary Quan Minh Cuong congratulated the comrades who were entrusted by the Party with new responsibilities, especially the two new Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee. This is a worthy recognition of the capacity, qualities, prestige, training and dedication of the comrades; at the same time, it is also the trust and expectation of the Central Committee and the entire Party Committee and people of the province for the leadership role of the two comrades on the next development path of the province.

The Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee hopes that comrades will promote their practical work experiences, continue to strive, cultivate and practice moral qualities, lifestyle, improve political capacity, be absolutely loyal to the revolutionary cause of the Party; quickly get to work, grasp the work quickly, closely follow the grassroots, wholeheartedly, promote the sense of responsibility, intelligence, capacity, solidarity, unity, together with the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and the leaders of Cao Bang province to successfully complete the targets set out in the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

In addition to the two new Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, the Central Party Secretariat also approved the participation in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for two comrades Le Hai Yen, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board and Vu Dinh Quang, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province.

Also on the morning of June 9, the People's Council of Cao Bang province, term XVII, term 2021-2026, held the 31st session (special session) to pass a resolution to elect Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Bang province, term XVII, term 2021-2026 for comrade Be Thanh Tinh (born in 1970, hometown in Ha Lang district, Cao Bang; professional qualification: Master of Business Administration); elect Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province, term 2021-2026 for comrade Le Hai Hoa.

Cao Bang Provincial Party Secretary Quan Minh Cuong presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Le Hai Hoa on being elected Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee, term XVII, 2021-2026.

With 39/42 votes in favor, comrade Le Hai Hoa was elected by the Provincial People's Council as Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee. With 41/42 votes in favor, comrade Be Thanh Tinh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, held the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

The meeting also dismissed comrade Trieu Dinh Le (retired before the age limit according to the regime) from the position of Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2021-2026; and dismissed comrade Hoang Xuan Anh (retired before the age limit) from the position of Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee, term 2021-2026.

The meeting passed a Resolution to dismiss the duties of delegates of the 17th Cao Bang Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026 for comrades Trieu Dinh Le (former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council), Hoang Xuan Anh (former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee), To Vu Lap (former Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee) due to early retirement according to the regime.

The meeting also dismissed members of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term Vu Hong Quang (former Director of the Provincial Police), Dam Minh Tuan (former Commander of the Provincial Military Command), Sam Viet An (former Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) due to transfer to other jobs and taking on new assignments; Be Van Hung (former Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions) due to retirement according to the regime.

At the meeting, delegates elected additional members of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for comrade Van Khac Thanh, Commander of the Cao Bang Provincial Military Command.
