Which bank has the highest interest rate now?
PVcomBank applies an interest rate of up to 10%/year for a 12-13 month term with a minimum deposit of VND2,000 billion. The above interest rate applies to a fairly large deposit of VND2,000 billion.
Ranked second is MSB with an interest rate of up to 8.5%/year for a 13-month term at the bank counter. The applicable conditions are that the savings book is newly opened or the savings book is opened from January 1, 2018, automatically renewed with a term of 12 months, 13 months and the deposit amount is from 500 billion VND.
HDBank also applies a fairly high interest rate, 8.1%/year for a 13-month term, with a much lower minimum balance requirement, only 300 billion VND.

BIDV has reduced deposit interest rates for all terms from 3 months to 24 months. BIDV announced that the 3-month term interest rate has decreased from 2.2% to 2%. The 6-month term interest rate has decreased from 3.2% to 3%. The 12-month term interest rate has decreased from 4.8% to 4.7%. The 24-month term interest rate has decreased from 5% to 4.7%.
Saigonbank reduced interest rates for 3-month and 6-month terms, kept the interest rate for 12-month terms unchanged and increased the interest rate for 24-month terms. At Saigonbank, the interest rate for 3-month terms decreased from 2.7% to 2.5%. At 6-month terms, the interest rate decreased from 3.9% to 3.8%. The interest rate for 12-month terms remained at 5%. The interest rate for 24-month terms increased from 5% to 5.7%. At Techcombank, the interest rate for 3-month terms decreased from 3.1% to 2.7%, equivalent to a decrease of 0.4%. The interest rate for 6-month terms remained at 3.7%. The interest rate for 12-month and 24-month terms remained at 4.7%.
Previously, at KienlongBank, for the 3-month term, the interest rate decreased from 3.2% to 3%, equivalent to a decrease of 0.2%. For the 6-month term: Decreased from 4.4% to 4.2% (a decrease of 0.2 percentage points). For the 12-month and 24-month terms, the interest rates remained unchanged at 4.8% and 5.3%, respectively.
At SCB, the 3-month term interest rate decreased from 2.05% to 1.95%, equivalent to a decrease of 0.1%. The 6-12-24 month terms, interest rates remained unchanged at 3.05%; 4.05%; 4.05%, respectively.
