Urgent support of reserve equipment for Hue to respond to emergency floods

The State Reserve Department has deployed local support, promptly distributing necessary equipment in emergency situations.

Currently, a number of medical facilities and social protection centers in Hue city are deeply flooded due to heavy rain and floods, while the need for medical examination and treatment and disease prevention after the flood is becoming urgent.

Faced with that situation, with a proactive and urgent spirit, the State Reserve Department promptly deployed local support and distributed essential equipment for medical work in emergency situations.

On the night of November 3, 2025, after receiving a request from the People's Committee of Hue City to support generators for medical facilities, the State Reserve Department urgently submitted to the Ministry of Finance Decision No. 3708/QD-BTC dated November 3, 2025, assigning the State Reserve Department to issue national reserve goods in urgent situations from the national reserve.

According to this decision, 2 generators (including 1 set with capacity of 50 KVA and 1 set with capacity of 137 KVA) were immediately distributed during the night to serve medical examination and treatment for people in areas heavily affected by floods in Hue city.

On the same day, the State Reserve Department also issued Decision No. 686/QD-CDT dated November 3, 2025, assigning the task to the State Reserve Sub-Department of Region X to urgently organize the implementation. Immediately after that, the Sub-Department fully prepared goods and means of transport, and closely coordinated with the People's Committee of Hue City to agree on a plan for delivery and receipt of goods.

Thanks to quick coordination, the two generators were successfully delivered on the night of November 3, 2025. The delivery process was carried out in absolute safety, ensuring the correct quantity, quality and regulations.

The timely actions of the State Reserve Department not only demonstrate the spirit of proactive response to natural disasters, but also contribute to ensuring medical examination and treatment activities and protecting people's health in the emergency period, helping Hue city to quickly stabilize medical work and prevent and control epidemics after the flood.
