With a Korean father and a mother from Dong Nai (Vietnam), Hwang Min Woo has returned to his homeland many times. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, Min Woo, his younger brother and parents gave gifts to many poor households in Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai.

Hwang Min Woo and his younger brother even performed Vietnamese songs like "Em cua ngay hom qua" (Yesterday's Em) and "Ganh me" (Carrying mother) at the New Year's Eve party, and danced to "See tinh" by Hoang Thuy Linh...

In 2012, when Hwang Min Woo appeared in PSY's billion-view MV, he only participated in a short segment but still received attention. The boy was reported by foreign media at that time.

PSY found Min Woo by chance through the program Korea's Got Talent (2010). He was contacted by the male singer and became famous thanks to his guest role.
