Mr. Tri added that the Project Management Board is currently focusing resources on key construction items such as installation and tensioning of steel arch cables, a complex construction phase that determines the technical quality of the entire route.
At the 120m long span S2, all the arch segments have been installed; the remaining 2 spans (S1 and S3, each 80m long) have completed the installation of the main arch and are constructing the cross bracing.
It is expected that by the end of June 2025, the three arch spans will be completed, creating conditions for the deployment of the arch cable car system. To ensure progress and accuracy in the construction of high-precision technical items and heavy components (up to 100 tons), the project has mobilized many specialized equipment such as a 5,000-ton barge and an 800-ton crane, nearly 93m high.
Along with the main progress of the main bridge, the approach bridge items have completed 6/7 spans (3 spans remaining). The remaining span will be deployed immediately after completing the installation of the PI girder system.
To meet the construction progress, the construction unit is currently maintaining a construction force of more than 120 engineers and workers and organizing 3 continuous shifts, while strictly controlling technical requirements, quality and labor safety.
