Portuguese player plays for Ho Chi Minh City football team

Hugo Alves officially joined Becamex TP.HCM Club from the 2025-2026 season after passing the trial and medical tests.

Becamex TP.HCM Club has just announced new player Hugo Alves, Portuguese nationality. Hugo Alves was born in 1999, plays in the position of central midfielder, attacking midfielder.

Coach Nguyen Anh Duc's team appreciates the 26-year-old midfielder's sharp tactical thinking, flexible ball control ability and experience from Europe.

When mentioning Portugal, many Becamex TP.HCM players mention Ronaldo. Hugo Alves is a compatriot of the famous striker who is playing for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
