On April 11-13, La Liga will organize the U16 Next Gen Draft tournament to search for young Vietnamese football talents and award scholarships to train at the La Liga Football Training Center (Spain).
Within the framework of the program “Ea Sports FC Futures - Searching and developing global football talents,” La Liga will organize the “U16 Next gen draft” tournament to search for young football talents and award scholarships to train at the La Liga Football Training Center (Spain).
The program selects young players from 5 countries including South Africa, USA, Guatemala, UAE, Vietnam to find the 40 best young players and award scholarships to Spain for training.
U16 players will have the opportunity to experience training using advanced training methods from La Liga and EA Sports, in Madrid (Spain) in June 2025.
According to the plan, the tournament will take place in the following cities: Rustenberg (South Africa) on March 1-2; in New York (USA) on March 8-9; in Dubai (UAE) on March 27-28; in Guatemala City (Guatemala) on April 5-6.
In Vietnam, the U16 Next gen draft tournament will take place on April 11-13 at Gia Dinh Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City. The tournament will be organized by La Liga Vietnam, with the participation of experts from La Liga Spain.
The tournament organizers will select more than 200 players, divided into 16 men's teams and 16 women's teams (each team will play 5 players, 2 reserves). The teams will compete in a round-robin to select.
La Liga experts will select the 32 best players (16 men and 16 women) for the final round, from which they will find the last 4 men and 4 women to receive scholarships to train in Madrid, Spain.
Selected players will participate in training sessions developed according to the La Liga Academy methodology, play friendly matches with La Liga club youth teams and receive guidance from leading experts in the football industry.
