LG CEO discusses production methods and quality control
With the orientation of maintaining a pioneering position in global markets in the future, LG has proposed practical policies such as optimizing local operations, providing international quality standards, competitive costs and fast, reliable delivery processes for customers. Accordingly, it is especially applied in the Asian market - LG's strategic region with outstanding business development potential, with sales reaching 7,800 billion won (6 billion USD) in 2022 - continuously increasing by 1,000 billion won (760 million USD)/year with double-digit growth in the past two years.
On the first leg of LG CEO’s Asia tour, Cho Joo-wan arrived in Ho Chi Minh City to hear reports on the company’s regional operations and discuss the state of each market, including Vietnam, which serves as a global manufacturing hub for LG’s electronics and home appliances. Cho also discussed a range of business issues, including how to improve manufacturing efficiency, verify mass production processes for new products, enhance quality control and drive growth through mutually beneficial partnerships.
After leaving Vietnam, CEO Cho continued his visit to Thailand to visit a home appliance factory. His next destination was Jakarta, Indonesia to inspect the company's flagship OLED TV factory.
Mr. Cho emphasized: "With LG's vision, innovation and continuous improvement are the key to bringing excellent products and services to consumers.
