Thaco CEO resigns after more than 20 years of association, Mr. Tran Ba Duong takes over

(Dan Tri) - After Mr. Pham Van Tai - General Director of Thaco - retires, Chairman of the Board of Directors Tran Ba Duong will concurrently hold the position of General Director.

Mr. Pham Van Tai - General Director of Thaco and Mr. Nguyen Mot - Senior Director in charge of Culture - Communication of this enterprise voluntarily resigned from work during the restructuring and digital transformation period of Thaco. Chairman of the Board of Directors Tran Ba Duong will concurrently hold the position of CEO of the enterprise.

The information was published on the company's website. Speaking to Dan Tri newspaper reporters, Thaco said that Mr. Pham Van Tai and Mr. Nguyen Mot resigned and retired.

On August 16, at the meeting to deploy the operational plan and management work for the last 5 months of the year, the company announced the appointment of 3 deputy general directors. These 2 personnel include Mr. Nguyen Quang Bao - General Director of Thaco Auto, Mr. Tran Bao Son - General Director of Thaco Agri and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tue - General Director of Thadico.

Mr. Luu Van Dat continues to be reappointed as Thaco Deputy General Director in charge of legal affairs. Mr. Tran Ba Duong - Chairman of the Board of Directors concurrently holds the position of Thaco General Director.

In his New Year message, Chairman Tran Ba Duong announced that this year he will recruit 26,149 employees, bringing the total number of employees to 77,161.
