Touching message from parents
On June 21, Tran Khai Nguyen High School (District 5) held a gratitude and maturity ceremony for 760 12th grade students. A notable point of this ceremony was the songs that seemed to never stop playing, from the beginning to the last moment.
One of the surprising moments at the ceremony was when many parents of classes 12A1 and 12A2 came on stage to sing for the students, with songs that have accompanied their children from birth to adulthood. That was For you , "Dad will be the bird, taking you far away. Mom will be the flower, for you to pin on your chest...", "Out there is a vast world , and Mom's world is you. You are my joy, my home, my family..." in Mother's Dream .
And then many parents burst into tears when they started humming the song Mother's Diary , "One day you grow up, one day you are wise, one day you have to leave me. Steady steps, no matter the difficulties, the vast ocean and high sky you are struggling. One day suddenly sunny, one day suddenly rainy, my heart suddenly misses you endlessly. I miss your figure, I miss your smile, I miss you every moment of my life...".
"Wishing my dear child happiness and peace forever", many parents sang while choking up.

The performance of parents singing to their children moved many people.
Sharing with tears still rolling down her cheeks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, representative of the parents' group, said that parents of the two classes spent a week practicing singing together, and "we cried every night". "Dear teachers, we are connected by a thread of love, the children. Just a few days ago, we were still confused and worried, everything was strange, but now the children are confident and ready to step into new horizons", Ms. Thuy was moved.
After thanking the teachers, the female parent also apologized to the teaching staff, not only because many students are young, playful, and unintentionally make teachers sad, but also because somewhere in life out there, there are parents who unintentionally make teachers sad. "On behalf of all parents, I would like to send the teachers our most sincere apologies. I hope the teachers will forgive us, so that when we leave this beloved place, we and the children will feel at ease," said Ms. Thuy.
Addressing the students, Ms. Thuy confided that she had a deep love for Tran Khai Nguyen School, a love that came from the presence of her own children. "You are the greatest love. Wherever that love goes, your parents carry their hearts with them. Your parents are always here to welcome you unconditionally. And no matter when, where, come home if you need comfort. That's all we need...", Ms. Thuy confided.
"Mom and Dad love you endlessly, thank you for being in this world," the female parent said.

The principal also sang for the students.
Not only parents, teachers also dedicated many meaningful songs to their students, making the whole schoolyard burst into excitement. The performance had the participation of Ms. Vo Thi Hong Lan, Principal of Tran Khai Nguyen High School, along with teachers in the Board of Directors and all homeroom teachers of grade 12, told in three stories including "Literature Miracle", "Brilliant Mathematics" and "Selectable Victory".
While the teachers expressed their happiness in accompanying their students through the song Miracle , "Isn't it a miracle that we met? One person smiles softly, the other person's pain is relieved...", the teachers chose the song Where the fireworks are brilliant to replace the message to their students, "It's okay if we're not brilliant. It's okay if we're not steadfast. Life is not easy for anyone. Finding glory is becoming a shining star...".
Finally, the whole schoolyard seemed to be motivated when the teachers sang together in the song "Belief in Victory" to advise: "Even though it is difficult, my friend, always believe. Even though it is painful, my friend, keep the faith. Belief in victory will bring us to the shore of joy. Belief in victory connects the heart that loves everyone. Belief in victory will bring us to the middle of life. Belief in victory will always be in the heart of each of us...".

In response, all 12th grade students of Tran Khai Nguyen High School sang together the song "Nguoi sow green seeds" - a song about the journey of "growing people" full of perseverance, patience and understanding, tolerance of teachers - to express gratitude to the teachers who taught them to become good people. "We thank you, teachers!", that was the unanimous remark at the end of the performance sent by 760 12th grade students to the teachers who have accompanied them throughout the past time.
Ha Duc Cuong, a 12A5 student and Secretary of the Youth Union of Tran Khai Nguyen High School, shared that in addition to the ceremony, they also carried out many meaningful activities for graduation day, such as designing a photo booth with all the names of 760 12th grade students of the 2022-2025 school year, or reminding each other to bow 90 degrees to thank their parents in an activity to show gratitude to their parents...
Before taking the high school graduation exam, Cuong said that his friends were also given a shirt with the class information, each student's name and a small line: "Student Tran Khai Nguyen is the pride and happiness of his parents and the school."
"We were very touched when we read these words," Cuong confided. "We were also very surprised when our teachers sang us very 'trendy' songs that we like to listen to, such as Miracle , because these were songs that did not exist in the generation of our teachers' students."
Cuong added that this year, the organizing team, including 12th grade students and members of the school's Youth Union Executive Committee, designed many interesting games for their peers to increase solidarity, such as wall climbing, bouncy house sliding, throwing colored powder, playing water balloons, etc. "Everyone responded enthusiastically and happily," the male student shared.

Ms. Vo Thi Hong Lan, the school's principal, advised students that no matter what path they choose to pursue in the future, they should always have strong faith in themselves and dare to dream big, dare to overcome their own limits. "Learn to stand up after falling because this is when you learn the most. And turn your dreams into goals," Ms. Lan advised.
"The life ahead is a new page and you are the ones who continue to write your own story. I hope you will believe in extraordinary things because that belief will create miracles for your life," the principal emphasized. She also quoted the words of writer Paulo Coelho, author of The Alchemist , to convey: "Never give up on your dreams. Only those who are truly persistent can see miracles."
