Ho Chi Minh City University of Science announced information about 8 majors with the lowest tuition fees under 30 million VND/year, applicable to students admitted in 2025.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Science announced the expected tuition fees applicable to students admitted in 2025. Tuition fees are announced according to the schedule for each academic year.

Tuition fees for all majors range from 28.4 to 67 million VND/year

Accordingly, in the 2025-2026 school year, tuition fees for all majors are expected to range from 28.4 to 67 million VND/year. Tuition fees are built differently depending on the major/group of majors and training programs.

Tuition fees are lowest for general programs, then for English intensive programs and highest for advanced programs.

In the general program, the lowest tuition fee is 28.4 million VND/year, including the following majors: physics, geology, oceanography , environmental science, environmental engineering technology, nuclear engineering, geological engineering, resource and environmental management.

The tuition fee for the education technology major is 31.8 million VND/year. Next, the medical physics major charges 32.2 million VND/year. The majors with the same tuition fee of 34.2 million VND/year include: biology, biotechnology, electronic physics and information technology, semiconductor technology, chemistry, materials science and land economics .

Many majors have tuition fees of 35.5 million VND/year such as: mathematics, applied mathematics, computer science, data science, statistics, computer and information technology groups, artificial intelligence, materials technology, electronic and telecommunications engineering, and microchip design.

The English enhancement program, tuition fees for all majors range from 44.6 to 55.4 million VND/year. The highest tuition fee belongs to the advanced computer science program, with 67 million VND/year.

The school also announced the expected tuition fee schedule for each academic year applicable to students admitted to the 2025 intake. For example, students majoring in advanced computer science pay the following tuition fees each year: 67 million VND for the first year; 75.3 million VND for the second year; over 82.8 million VND for the third year and 86.9 million VND for the fourth year.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Science also announced scholarship programs applicable to students admitted to the 2025 class.

Candidates admitted to the school will be considered for full scholarships (first year level and with conditions to maintain in each following semester) for candidates with high achievements in Science and Technology competitions, Olympic exams, excellent student exams in math, physics, chemistry, biology, information technology (first prize at national level, gold, silver, bronze medals at international level); candidates with the highest scores (excluding priority points) in the admission period.

Notably, the school offers scholarships worth 50-100% of the first year's tuition fees for students admitted to majors that serve the goals of sustainable development and national strategy. Majors include: geology, oceanography, general environmental science, environmental engineering technology, geological engineering, and nuclear engineering.

In addition, students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Science are also considered for academic encouragement scholarships, sponsored scholarships and other forms of financial support.
