The "Green March" campaign is an opportunity for young people in the armed forces to demonstrate their sense of responsibility and to promote their pioneering and volunteer spirit for the community and the nation.
Taking place at a time when the entire Party, people, and army are competing to achieve accomplishments to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, and looking forward to the 14th National Party Congress, the campaign is even more meaningful and has a profound and widespread impact.

At the launching ceremony, the Youth Committee of the Provincial Police Department, in coordination with the Youth Union of BIDV Bank, Nghe An branch, presented a plaque representing a donation of 50 million VND to Mr. Pham Van Chung, a poor household residing in Block 6, Nghi Tan Ward, to support house repairs.
In addition, 30 gift packages, each worth 1 million VND, were sent to 15 disadvantaged families and 15 underprivileged students who excelled in their studies despite difficult circumstances.

Showing solidarity with the islands and seas, the youth of the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command presented 200 portraits of President Ho Chi Minh, 400 national flags, and 10 gift packages (each worth 500,000 VND) to local fishermen. These gifts not only have material value but also serve as a great source of encouragement, boosting the confidence of the fishermen to venture out to sea and contribute to protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.

In addition, youth union members from the armed forces organized activities such as health check-ups, consultations, and free distribution of medicine to the people; disseminating information on drug and e-cigarette prevention; and training hundreds of children and teenagers in drowning prevention skills. 150 lunch meals were also delivered to patients receiving treatment at Vinh City General Hospital.
Not only at the provincial level, but also at grassroots youth union branches, young people in the armed forces have simultaneously launched a series of meaningful activities directed towards border areas, remote areas, and disadvantaged regions. Many specific tasks have been implemented, such as: building new rural areas, disseminating information on preventing and combating social evils, and supporting digital transformation in localities. The "Digital Literacy Movement" has spread strongly, contributing to helping people, especially young people in disadvantaged areas, access information technology.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the units also organized visits and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, veterans, wounded soldiers, and sick soldiers; at the same time, they organized voluntary blood donation programs, medical examinations, and provided free medicine to the people.
Support models such as building charitable houses, adopting "children of border guard posts," "children adopted by the Youth Union," and "helping children go to school" are also being planned for implementation throughout the campaign, affirming the pioneering and voluntary role of the youth of the armed forces in Nghe An in their journey for the community.
