Taking care of Tet for the elderly in difficult circumstances

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Elderly Association connected with Thien Tam Fund, businesses, and philanthropists to present 500 gifts, 5 gratitude houses, and 100 health insurance cards to the elderly in difficult circumstances in the area.

Of the 500 gifts sent to the elderly in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Tet At Ty 2025, Thien Tam Fund supported 200 gifts (worth 600,000 VND/gift); Thanh Hoa Power Construction Joint Stock Company awarded 80 gifts (worth 550,000 VND/gift); Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade - Thanh Hoa Branch ( VietinBank Thanh Hoa) awarded 100 Tet gifts (worth 500,000 VND/gift).

Thanh Hoa Provincial Elderly Association presents Tet gifts from businesses and philanthropists to visually impaired elderly people in Nhu Thanh district, Thanh Hoa.

PetroVietnam Power Company also cooperated with the Provincial Elderly Association to present 70 gifts worth 1 million VND each; 5 gratitude houses worth 400 million VND and 100 health insurance cards to the elderly in difficult circumstances during Tet. In addition, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also, through the Provincial Elderly Association, presented 50 gifts worth 500,000 VND each to the elderly in difficult circumstances during the 2025 Lunar New Year.

The Elderly Association of Nhu Thanh district gives Tet gifts to the elderly in difficult circumstances in the district.

On January 16 and 17, the Provincial Elderly Association coordinated with the Elderly Association of Nhu Thanh district to present 16 gifts worth 550,000 VND each to visually impaired elderly people in the area.

Leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Elderly Association presented Tet gifts from businesses and philanthropists to elderly people in difficult circumstances in Thieu Hoa district.

In Thieu Hoa district, the Provincial Association of the Elderly also organized the presentation of 35 Tet gifts to the elderly in difficult circumstances in the district.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Elderly Association, said: Based on the spirit of mutual love, in recent years, the Provincial Elderly Association has mobilized businesses and philanthropists to join hands with the Party Committee and government to share difficulties with the elderly in the area during holidays and Tet.

“Through the program, we hope to bring a warm Tet and a happy Spring to the elderly who are still in difficulty in the area,” Mr. Thang shared.
