Today's "For Workers' Health" festival was held at PouYuen Vietnam Limited Company with about 1,000 workers of the company receiving free dental and gynecological examinations, health care consultations, and medical treatment.
In addition, the City Labor Federation also took care of 20 female workers with serious illnesses and difficulties (worth 1 million VND/gift); Ba Huan Joint Stock Company donated 1,000 gifts of necessities; Tuong Nguyen Charity Association donated 3,000 vegetarian meals; Pouyen Vietnam Limited Liability Company Union donated 1,000 fresh oranges (5 kg/gift) to 1,000 workers participating in the program.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, said that currently, most workers and direct production laborers, due to the nature of their work, have little time to care for their own health, leading to illnesses not being detected early and treated promptly.
Therefore, health check-up, detection and prevention of occupational diseases for workers is necessary.
The festival "For workers' health" is organized to continue to effectively promote the role of trade unions in taking care of the health of workers in difficult circumstances in the city in general and workers of PouYuen Vietnam Limited Liability Company in particular.

Ms. Loan also thanked the leaders of PouYuen Vietnam Limited Liability Company for their attention, thanked the doctors, medical staff, philanthropists, and Tuong Nguyen Charity Association for supporting health check-ups, consultations, gifts, and creating conditions for the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union to take care of workers' health.
It is known that from 2022 to present, the City Labor Federation has maintained the "For Workers' Health" Festival program with free general examination, gynecological examination and dental examination activities for female workers.
Up to now, the Trade Union at all levels has proactively coordinated with agencies and units to organize health check-ups and disease screening for over 15,757 female workers and laborers, with a total cost of over 8 billion VND.
