Receiving the spacious Great Unity House right before the Lunar New Year 2024 is a great joy for the family of Mr. Chu Huu Gioi and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Le, a near-poor household in Tay Tuu ward (Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi ). This Great Unity House is also a project to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Bac Tu Liem district and welcome the District Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024 - 2029. From 50 million VND in support from the "For the Poor" Fund of Bac Tu Liem district, 20 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund of Tay Tuu ward and the help of relatives on both sides, the Great Unity House has been solidly built, ensuring the family a stable home and a prosperous career. At the handover ceremony of the Great Unity House, Mr. Gioi and Mrs. Le's family were even happier to receive many practical gifts from the Fatherland Front of Bac Tu Liem district, Tay Tuu ward and businesses in the area.
Ms. Le said that for many years, her family has worked hard but still lacked money. Although both husband and wife have tried their best to improve themselves, they still could not escape poverty. “Now, thanks to the help of the Fatherland Front and local authorities, my family has completed the house in time to welcome the New Year. We are very happy and thank the Fatherland Front of the city and Bac Tu Liem district for their wholehearted help and creating conditions for my husband and I to escape poverty,” Ms. Le shared.
Uniting and joining hands to build a civilized urban area and promoting the strength of great solidarity according to the motto "using the people's strength to care for people's lives", helping people in difficult circumstances to fight against poverty relapse have been identified by the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Tu Liem district as two key tasks to compete for achievements to welcome the Fatherland Front Congress at all levels.
Ms. Van Thuy Hoa - Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Tu Liem District said that in 2023, the Fatherland Front, together with the government and mass organizations in the district, implemented the goal of eliminating all near-poor households. Therefore, the entire district no longer has near-poor households. In the first days of the new year 2024, the district launched a peak emulation campaign to the Fatherland Front system; in which, the focus is on continuing to improve the quality of life, promoting the strength of the great solidarity bloc and fighting against poverty relapse in the entire district.
In Tay Ho district, responding to the peak emulation campaign, achieving achievements to welcome the Congress of the Fatherland Front at all levels, the Fatherland Front Committee of the district has taken many practical actions with good models and good practices to widely deploy among all classes of people. Mr. Tran Quang Dao - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ho district said that the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district has thoroughly grasped and organized propaganda, mobilization, widely gathered all classes of people, promoted the role of typical individuals in ethnic groups, religions, intellectuals, foreigners living in the area to join hands, unanimously implement the regulations of the authorities at all levels, well implement patriotic emulation movements, campaigns contributing to building the district to soon become a service, tourism and cultural center of the city.
To meet the tasks of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the new period, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district regularly innovates its methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, taking residential areas and residential groups as the focus to diversify forms of gathering a large number of people from all walks of life and religions to participate in building a solid great unity bloc. 2024 is a particularly important year in organizing the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Hanoi, towards the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029; celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, requiring the system of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the city to make efforts to innovate the content and methods of operation, unite, gather, and mobilize all potentials, resources, and creativity among the people, actively contributing to the successful implementation of the city's goals and tasks.
According to Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong - Chairwoman of the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee, the city Fatherland Front has launched a special emulation campaign with key contents. In particular, in the immediate future, the Fatherland Front at all levels will focus on preparing conditions for the successful organization of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Hanoi. In particular, focusing on strengthening the organization and improving the quality of operations of the Fatherland Front system at all levels; emulating each Fatherland Front unit at the district and commune levels to have at least one project, work, or task demonstrating innovation and creativity in implementing tasks.
