Approved investment policy for SCI Huong Viet Wind Power Plant over 1,018 billion VND

The People's Committee of Quang Tri province has just issued a decision approving the investment policy of the SCI Huong Viet Wind Power Plant project with a total estimated investment cost of more than VND 1,018 billion through the form of invitation of interest and bidding for projects using land. The project implementation location is in Huong Phung commune, Huong Hoa district. The project's operating period is 50 years, from the date of issuance of the decision approving the investor.

The project implementation progress is expected to be about 18 months from the date of approval of the investor selection results according to the provisions of the law on bidding. It is expected that in the fourth quarter of 2025, the decision to invest in the project and start the main construction will be made; in the fourth quarter of 2026, the project will be put into operation. The land use area with an expected term is about 9.09 ha or less than 0.35 ha/MW.

The area of ​​land temporarily used during the construction of the factory is expected to be about 7.2 hectares or less than 0.3 hectares/MW.

The project aims to supply and supplement electricity sources, meeting the energy demand to implement the socio-economic development goals in Quang Tri province in particular and Vietnam in general. Expected power generation capacity is 26 MW.
