Chau Thanh: Handing over 12 gratitude houses to policy families

On the afternoon of April 29, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Chau Thanh District held a ceremony to hand over 12 gratitude houses to disadvantaged policy households in Chau Thanh District.

Attending the event were Mr. Than Van Nhan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Tri Cuong - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee.

District and commune leaders presented decisions and gifts to policy families.

Implementing the Government 's policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, Chau Thanh district has organized the construction of 19 new gratitude houses for disadvantaged policy families in the area. Of which, 7 gratitude houses were built in concentrated residential areas because the families did not have land. Each house is worth 160 million VND, drawn from the Gratitude Fund of the province, district and commune.

It is known that 12 policy households receiving new houses this time are from Thanh Dien, An Co, Hao Duoc, Thai Binh , Dong Khoi, Phuoc Vinh, Thanh Long communes and Chau Thanh town.

At the ceremony, the District and Commune Gratitude Fund Mobilization Committee presented each policy family that received a house in the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with a television.
