On the afternoon of May 27, a fire broke out on the 6th floor of the HH2A Linh Dam apartment building (Hoang Mai district, Hanoi). Black smoke billowed from the fire, causing panic among many people.

At about 4:40 p.m. on May 27, a fire broke out in an apartment on the 6th floor of the HH2A Linh Dam apartment building (Hoang Mai district, Hanoi ).

Witnesses said they were in the apartment building's yard when they saw thick black smoke coming from an apartment on the 6th floor.

"Many people shouted and informed the building's security to come and put out the fire. The building's security force used hand-held fire extinguishers to put out the fire," said a witness.

According to witnesses, because there was no one inside the apartment, the security forces had to work very hard to break the door and put out the fire.

Many people were shocked when they discovered the fire in building HH2A.

After about 10 minutes, the fire was completely extinguished. There were no casualties, property damage is being counted.

A representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police said that on-site forces quickly extinguished the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
