According to initial information, at 1:00 p.m. the same day, people saw a mechanical workshop in alley 479 Tan Hoa Dong (Binh Tri Dong Ward, Binh Tan District , Ho Chi Minh City) on fire.
Immediately, workers inside the mechanical workshop and surrounding people mobilized fire extinguishers to put out the fire and reported to the authorities.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Binh Tan District Police received the report and dispatched vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene. Nearly an hour later, the fire was under control.
According to witnesses, there was a loud explosion before the fire broke out. Then smoke and fire spread inside the mechanical workshop. When the fire broke out, workers ran outside in panic.
Among them, two injured people were taken to the hospital by fellow workers.
It is known that the above mechanical workshop specializes in making iron hinges, and has been operating here for many years.
